Passing the baton - 2008 has been a good year for EAA 309. We had successful first flights, brought in some new members, and had many enjoyable events. None of this success would have happened without you, our members, getting involved and volunteering your time, energy and enthusiasm.
As is the tradition in Chapter 309, the officer elections were held during the Christmas dinner party. Before introducing the new officers, I would like to thank the following people who volunteered to lead EAA 309 over the past year:

There are so many people to thank it is difficult to single out any one person but three names come to mind who are not on the official EAA list that should be recognized; David Boarders, Kevin Cromie, and Sam Stewart. These three have always been there to help with each and every chapter event, even when those events landed on and important date such as their wife’s birthday. Next time you see one of them, please take a minute to recognize their contribution.
