Bill Repucci's RV-9

Here's a little info about Bill's RV-9.

The Horizontal going together
Getting started on the tail

The box of wing parts

Ten months later...

Inventorying the fuselage box...

Some simple parts that had to be fabricated:

Putting the fuselage together:

The seat pan ready for match drilling...

Fast forward and it's starting to look like a plane...

Time to inspect and hang the engine...

Back together and ready for the plane...

Some time later it is hung, wired, and plumbed...

The panel was built, instruments installed and wired, and it passed the smoke test...

Somewhere in there I had to design an electrical system.  There are some errors in this drawing, can you find them?  This is one of three drawings which cover the electrical system.

Thane States, RV-10 builder/flyer, helping widen the basement door so we can the thing out.

Birthing...

On the way to the airport...

First test run...

It flies!
